Mark Grayson Variants with a Cynessa!Reader

Mark Grayson

- He thinks you're a complete freak. Damn. You're wearing a corpse as clothes;

- You're a planet eater, of course you're a threat. The dumbest threat he's ever dealt with;

- Mark can't stand the smell of rotting flesh and the metallic, bone-shattering sound his body makes;

- Fighting you is a struggle, even though you're a piece of rotten meat it's hard to take you down easily. He can even rip your head off, you can put it back on like it was nothing. You're a damn cockroach;

- The disturbing fact that you say you'll love tasting his meat, because you've never tried viltrumite meat;

" You were fighting for half an hour, Mark looked around intently, expecting at any moment the reader to teleport in front of him as if he were a damn computer bug. Soon he heard a metallic sound, yellow glitches appeared behind him, when you teleported in front of the invincible with a huge smile on your face that tore the flesh and muscles of your rotting cheek.

Mark turned around quickly, grabbing you by the neck, looking at you furiously through the lens of his mask's glasses, you had a manic look and a big smile on your face as you looked at him with amusement.

"Why are you so angry?" he asked sarcastically, his voice distorted, robotic and glitchy, it sounded like his voice box was broken. – "sarcastic laugh" – this damned failure to speak his actions left him disturbed – "relax, when you're done... I'll love to taste your meat... You know, I've never tasted viltrumite meat" – this was not a warning.

Mark was disgusted, the smell disturbed him, blood and oil dripped down that failed replication of fucking Frankenstein.

"shut the fuck up"."

- Mark after restraining you, he was intrigued, you were a threat, for sure, you couldn't leave any technology near you, as there was a high chance you would corrupt it. But damn... You're a misfit idiot;

- When you are confined in a prison that prevents you from using the solver, Mark always visits you;

- He wants to understand this grotesque aberration;

- You're always complaining, but you like the visits from the invincible one, he's a fool... but a nice guy;

- You keep drawing him and you (like awkward sticks on paper) holding hands;

- Mark now keeps buying you hair bows, you have terrible hyperfocus with it;

- You keep complaining that you want to devour the earth and you have the ability to do so, but it would be a total pain if you killed him to achieve your goal. Since it wouldn't be cooler if Mark wasn't with you... He considers it a step forward;

Sinister Mark

- At first he hated you, you're a damn pest;

- It was hard to kill you, you could rip your limbs off, but you would regenerate or even put them back in place. It was impossible to actually hurt you, and you kept that damn shitty smile;

- You were fast and physically strong, he had to admit, and to make matters worse you had the absolutesolver ability, which always threw you;

- Mark loves meat, obviously he does, but damn you were rotten, he would just kill you;

- But after all that destruction, you didn't die, one of two things: he gets incredibly angry or he admires you;

- If he gets angry, he will do everything he can to kill you;

- If he admires you, he will stop fighting with you, he will ask you what the hell you are;

" Mark's yellow cape flapped behind Mark's back, he glared at Reader. You were a slut, and you were testing Mark's patience.

"What the hell are you?" he asked, you just appeared causing more chaos than he caused on earth. You smiled broadly, showing your deformed teeth – "What am I? Intelligence of absolute absotura, the void, the exponential end." – the aberration says what it was while several strange codes appeared on the creature's face.

Mark arched an eyebrow beneath his mask. "What?"

- You're a fucking piece of shit, how can a planet eater, in your words "The intelligence of absolute absolution", be a complete imbecile?;

- Let's say you became friends, but there's no way he's going to give you the land to devour;

- Let's say you had a nice cup of tea and used severed fingers as spoons to stir the contents in your porcelain cups, while the owner of the fingers cried in front of him;

- He felt incredibly chic drinking tea;

- You are a fun freak.

Omni Invincible

- He fucking hates you;

- You are weird and unnecessary, you shouldn't exist;

- Its existence is a mistake;

- Mark is fast, he wants to incapacitate you, but baby, you are unstoppable;

- He finds the tricks of holograms to deceive him unbearable, it's a dirty game, he hates it;

- Can't stop the void;

- Even if I dismember you, it seems impossible to kill you, but of course you are a damn robot that wears a human body like a fancy dress, that would be like asking for the sense in you;

- He can tell you're having fun;

"The buildings were destroyed around him, Mark flew above the rubble, his cape slowly swaying behind him, giving an aura of seriousness. While you were on the floor looking at him with a huge smile on your face.

"It seems like I irritated you.... Giggle... Hehehe I am so naugthy" – You laugh in amusement, finding his frustration hilarious. The Viltrumite growled at that smug attitude of yours, how could you be so annoying?

Angry, he advanced towards you, punching you in the face and throwing you into the wreckage. The sound of flesh tearing, bones breaking and metal crumpling from the impact was not a pleasant sound, it was far from a pleasant sound. It was grotesque.

You got up with difficulty, the solver regenerated you instantly, but your smile remained on your face.

"Just die soon" – he growls in irritation."

- You didn't die and now you're chasing him like a plague;

- You gave up on consuming the planet, and now your life goal is to make it hell;

- You jump on his back and put a hair tie on his head, telling him that look suits him;

- He obviously hates you for this.

Mohawk Mark

- You two are a freak, but you outdo yourself;

- You guys fought a lot, but you got bored quickly and started teasing him;

- Mark found it amusing when you pinned him against the wall with one of your crab claws that emerged from your back while you glared at him manically;

- Its smell is unpleasant, but bearable;

- You two are little shits;

- He wants to expand his empire and you want to devour planets, the unlikely dynamic is fun;

- The healthiest game you two can have is playing volleyball with a severed head;

- Your friendship is the basis of violence;

"You are now Mark's best friend, and you have decided to break into a guest house to play one of your violent pranks. You entered, kicking the door open with your strength, even though you are a "corpse" you have very brute strength.

You decided to sing a silly and grotesque song while destroying the place and killing the people who were there.

"Violence! Violence! You're the one for me!"– you rip out the heart of a random human who tried to run away from you, the heart still beating through one of your metal hands – "I'll steal your heart!" – you squeezed it crushing it – "And then I'll crush it into smithereens" – You throw it on the floor as if it were nothing, and climb on the table finishing your song. – " You're my special fella. We'll slaugther all our enemies. And send'em staight down to hell" – Mark thought it was fucking funny, you're a clueless idiot. He flew towards you, both of you covered in blood. – "Damn that was awesome!"

Violence brought you together"

- He loves to have fun with you, even though you're a big idiot.

No Goggles Mark

- You're so fucking funny;

- You both share the same neuron when it comes to violence;

- He loves the fact that you want to devour him, you bite him and tear off pieces of his flesh, it's fun;

- It's funny when he rips your head off and you go after him to get it back;

- Your two favorite game is who can kill the most people in a short period of time, and he always wins, because you always take a break to devour your victims;

- He likes to play with you;

" Mark saw you lying face down on the floor, in front of you was a Sylvanian Families dollhouse, in your hands were two Sylvanian Families dolls, they were two bunnies.

You were hitting each other, it looked like you were kissing, it was adorable if you didn't know the context.

"Are you playing house?" – he asked, you just nodded – "Are they kissing?" – Grayson asks in a provocative way, so you answer in a simple way – " no... They are fighting to the death ".

Mark found it funny and amusing, he also lay down on his stomach and took one of the dolls from your hand, and the two of you began to play.

The two little rabbits were crushed in his hands."

- You two are unpredictable, this makes you extremely dangerous;

- Mark loves it when you put multiple hair bows on him.

Viltrumite Mark

- You deceived him, and that's why he kind of doesn't like you very much;

- He was on Cooper 9, as there was no life on the planet, it was easier for him to obtain its natural resources;

- But you were there, pretending to be a human wearing a spacesuit, and you were on that planet (which was a colony of Earth) and was responsible for fixing the problem that arose with an anomaly;

- In fact, you were the anomaly. You were there to get rid of an antivirus patch that could kill you, and with Mark there, it would be easy to get past security;

- He pretended to be a good Samaritan and so did you;

- He was the first to betray you, "killing" you at the first opportunity;

- But you stood up, put your head back on your body, and removed your spacesuit, revealing the dead body you wore as clothing;

- Mark was surprised and disgusted by you, obviously you fought;

- He wanted that planet for the Viltrumite Empire, what about you? Get rid of the fix patch and devour the planet;

- His arm went through his chest, ripping out his heart (its core) and crushing it;

- But it didn't kill you, it just made things worse for him;

"After crushing his heart the reality around him was adulterated, Mark was attentive. The colors disappeared, gravity wasn't working, and soon a black hole expanded, swallowing them, everything was dark, Mark didn't understand anything that was happening around him.

There was a small yellow glow over his hand where he crushed its core, a small black hole.

Soon he heard grunts, flesh tearing, and metal grinding, slowly approaching, his wrist was held tightly with one of his hands.

He saw his black eyes, oil and thick blood running down his cheek, nose and mouth. His grunts were terrifying to hear.

The Viltrumite didn't have time to react, you lifted his hand and put it in your mouth, swallowing the black hole.

"LET ME GO" - He was disgusted by her attitude, feeling her metallic tongue on his heated skin.

You removed his hand from your mouth, his hand was covered in thick black liquid, which made him feel sick.

His eyes now returned to those neon yellow X's, and his smile widened as reality returned to normal."

- Now you torment him.

I hope you liked it, I would have liked to have done it about the other variants, but my creativity died hahaha. Maybe I'll do part two.

"Context" / me just rambling about my canon under cut if you're curious

HI okay confusing canon divergence time- I'm kin with both Doll and AbsoluteSolver. In the same timeline. I consider them the same kintype but honestly that's just because I personally consider each timeline as a kintype rather than each person (as I have another 'type that's weird like this.)

As stated earlier, I was very canon divergent. I didn't die during ep 7 and I'm pretty sure I was with the rest of the group (if at all) while exploring Cabin Fever.

The major difference in my canon from media is that the Crucifix Patch on Yeva changed her copy of the Solver so that it was a different "strain" of it (kind of like how organic viruses evolve into different variations). I have no idea how it works in canon, but 'offspring' drones are basically copies of one parent with a few variables / extra lines of code from the other, which is how I have her strain of AbsoluteSolver.

So... me and Solver weren't really that separate? Like yeah it was its own program, but it did 'leak' into my code a lot. Anyways, because Solver was an exact copy of Yeva's and Yeva's was a copy of Cyn's, which was a copy of the original, I had access to a LOT of memories that weren't mine. I have Cyn's up to the point where the virus was put into Yeva, then Yeva up to my 'birth' (creation?).

Yeva's/my "strain" of the Solver was a lot more passive and didn't really have the capacity to be angry (which I guess played into the passivity). It did still destroy mirrors and took too much power (main reason why I had to keep killing people for oil) but it wouldn't try to possess me unless I was dying and it was trying to put me back together.

Anyways, I don't remember much about what I did in relation to the main cast, although I did follow through (tried to anyways) with my plan to become allies with Tessa and then worked with Uzi and N. I remember Uzi's Solver fucking hating me & my Solver lmao.

Here's a few more differences I remember (and I don't know where to fit anywhere here):

I was nonbinary and used any pronouns, primarily they/them

Solver would sometimes manifest itself as a security camera on a wire coming out of the side of my neck (and sometimes as a tail). It had a red eye.

I think Tessa wanted/tried to kill me but either I or N stopped her. I don't remember why exactly

I was unable to speak any language other than Russian because of a piece of my code called "langLock" being set to true. I may have tried to change it at some point but I don't really remember. Yes this means my Solver also spoke Russian

If the heat in their chest as Overkill was akin to a campfire, then the heat now was a supernova!

The transformed teen was slightly thankful for being shoved into the snow. It provided a temporary balm to the absolute monstrous amount of heat expelling from the new form. Distantly, they registered J’s terrified gasp despite not knowing why they could… A cough ended up sending scalding oil up their throat.

They thought they sensed the Omnitrix behind them—its typical presence more monumental whenever they took a technological form. Something else burned on the edges of their senses and it wasn’t the similar purple coded being right in front of them. Nooooooooooooo…

The Solver-infected drone who somehow spawned out of a disassembly drone drove a fleshy claw into their chest. Everything seemed to still to a halt, but unlike the time Uzi got the AbsoluteSolver’s core it wasn’t time stopping. No—that would be the mutual four way shock between the (relatively) uninjured parties…

She recognized the fleshy counterpart claws as the same as within N and V’s memories when past V went into insane Solver Mode. An ability she hasn’t exactly had the time or desire to figure out how to summon. The former only Solver host questioned what on Copper-9 the white and green optic’d drone was trying to do.

And wasn’t that in itself concerning!

They had a gradient like Uzi did already.

She didn’t have long to think about it when something pierced uncomfortably close to her own core and she felt herself being flung—

Two quick applications of the Eldritch program threw the other disassembly drones away. Although, it had to get creative in order to dispatch the Absolute Solver host—a tentacle through the ground was more of their tactics. Everything within the Omnitrix’s processor felt muffled beyond belief as something honest-to-goodness Eldritch battered at them both.

Granted, the Absolute Solver main conscious was throwing a temper tantrum like a child. Dart had bared the main brunt of that thing’s overwhelming emotions and managed to narrowly avoid gutting themself fatally. They had still buried a sharp set of claws into their chest committing self harm far too readily… The Omnitrix would have to have a talk with them over the Drone forms’ inclination to self harm.

Possessing the means of self regeneration didn’t take away the need for self preservation!

Speaking of, it debated on addressing the one who arguably started this whole mess. J was hovering fearfully several feet high in the air—dread seeping out of every inch of her frame.

“…J.” The Omnitrix tried to inject some more emotion into its voice, but the disassembly drone still ended up flinching. “EMP.” Its user thankfully managed to utter that to give her an idea on how to defend herself. Frankly, J took to visibly preparing an EMP in record time…

Now, onto the real troublemaker here.

A quick pull had the Omnitrix separating the core from the body and with it, the Absolute Solver’s vestigial presence from its processor.

One wide yellow eye stared at it and Dart.

“Let’s chat, shall we?” The genetic sequence bond duo let their smile dip even sharper than J or the purple one could normally pull off.

As it turns out, the Absolute Solver’s greatly discomforted by the fact Dart is a human and has access to its abilities. That was the <> section. The human of the duo has faced enough horrors to unfortunately resist it.

An inch. Meanwhile, the Omnitrix is sick of godly/immortal beings throwing its programming out of whack on bratty whims.

This is gonna be an interesting conversation between the three. I don't blame the Omnitrix either. Especially since this one was pretty intense to put it simply.

Protocol Chapter 4

Chapter 4

[C= True]

    C did a small flip in the sky and turned her head to Wren who was flying close to her. Wren giggled quietly and blushed as she covered her mouth with the back of her hand to silence herself. C smiled and glided a bit closer to Wren so they could touch wings. Wren rolled her eyes in a playful way and spun underneath her. Wren flew up beside N to start to ask him and Uzi questions about this ‘colony’ they were heading to. C’s whole body drooped when she noticed that her and Wren couldn’t goof off with each other anymore.

    L had flown up beside C and started to glide beside her. They slowly made eye contact and L started to speak. “Ok, C, there’s something wrong with you.” She started, “Ever since we landed on this planet you’ve been nothing but way too protective over Wren.” She flipped to where she glided on her back and slowly flew to where she was under C.

    “I’m your sister, I know when you change your personality.” L told C as they put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her. “You and me both know that Wren can take care of herself.” 

    C wasn’t going to say anything, but she blurted out words before she could think. “But what if she can’t!?” C started, L jumped back not expecting her to talk like that, “She has so much pressure on her because of the stupid humans! She is one of the last known Patches so far, she could save everyone! But if she dies before that moment, then the universe loses her, but.. I lose her as well..” C hugged herself and looked towards the ground below her. 

    L tapped C’s arm and gave her some reassuring words. “I know it’s hard to love someone who has such a high chance of dying, and even if I’ll never have a lover. I understand the pain. You just.. gotta be able to take care of her without pretty much being a stalker.” L said as she changed her left hand into a gun, “from now on, I’ll take patrol, why don’t you stay close to Wren, but don’t be too.. obsessive.” L laughed a little and said one more word before spinning away “Idiot”. They spun and glided up beside V who was beside N and Uzi. Now only C was left behind. 

    C thought about what L had said. Was she being too overprotective? C looked at her hands. This is why I thought me being a Teardown Drone was a bad idea to begin with.. I can’t kill drones, unless it’s for L or Wren.. C pondered on. She flew up towards Wren and glided beside her.

    “Soo, you used to kill the Worker Drones in this ‘colony’? How do you think they are going to react to C and L? Or even me?” Wren asked N and Uzi, but it was Uzi who spoke.

    “Well, I have no clue. Those drones are strange. But if a drone gets on your nerves, just threaten them. Don’t go on the attack like V.” Uzi said to Wren as she glanced to the other side of N where V was.

    “I can hear you.” V snapped, “And that worker with sunglasses who was poking me at the beginning of the camping trip should have got his arm cut off.” V crossed her arms and shut her eyes as she held her head high like she was mad. Uzi rolled her eyes and turned towards Wren again. 

    “Anyway!” Uzi said through her teeth, “You three should be fine as long as you don’t kill anybody..” She stayed silent for a moment, and even N looked down at her to make sure she was ok.

    “Speaking of killing workers,” Uzi started back up as she lifted one finger and pointed to Wren, C, and L. “Do you guys need oil to survive?”

    Wren glanced back at C with a worried look. C reminded herself that out of the three friends, Wren was the only one to need oil. The Teardown drones didn’t have the AngelicProtocol or the AbsoluteSolver, meaning they had no regeneration. But Wren needed oil because she overheated quickly. The AngelicProtocol, from what C understood of it, was just a modified version of the AbsoluteSolver that the humans tricked and lied to so it would be helpful to them, but it thought it was being evil. C remembered Wren coming to her ‘mom’s’ house the night after she got the AngelicPatcher. She kept glitching and had to have a bucket of oil near her because she would faint from overheating so much. Her voice kept glitching as well, it would be her normal voice, but mixed with the computer voice of the AbsoluteSolver. Of course, that tore C’s nerves up, but Wren got control of it pretty quickly.

    “Uh..” C started when Wren remained silent. “Me and L 

don’t need it. We don’t have the AngelicPatcher or the AbsoluteSolver in us, meaning, no regeneration or overheating.” C explained as she got little shocked looks from the main three. 

    “We do have a chip in our chest that if our body is broken beyond repair, someone can take the chip and put it into a new body, and we’d still have our personalities and memories.” C told the main three. Awkward silence hit them, like a bullet, until a little chirping sound from Uzi’s hat made everyone’s attention on her.

    Uzi looked up at her hat as a little gold and green bug pushed her hat up a little and crawled out halfway before looking around. It crawled down Uzi's arm and looked her right in the eyes. It lit up a face scanner and scanned Uzi. Then it lit up a text box when it called her 002 and started to ‘talk’.

    “Welcome back 002!”

    “Submit time card”

    “PTO requests”

    “Register torture chamber request”

    “End my suffering (Promo offer discontinued)

    “Call Elevator”

    Uzi narrowed her eyes to the text box and asked a question, “Elevator?” And the bug started to talk again.

    “Please put me on proximity reader (Cabin Fever Labs)”

    “Where’s that?” Uzi asked as she looked at N. He had a confused look on his face, so did everyone else really. “What are you?” Uzi asked the bug personally.

    “Invalid response” the bug said. It had read Uzi’s voice and thought she said ‘where’s hat? What’s argue?’ Uzi rolled her eyes and held the bug in her hands. She turned to Wren and narrowed her eyes again.

    “You wouldn’t know where this, ‘Cabin Fever Labs’ is, would ya?” She asked. Before they could answer. N pointed down to the ground and pointed at a bunker that was covered in snow.

    “Uzi! There’s the colony!” N said as he started to dive towards the ground. The rest of the others started to follow him down to the snowy ground.

    Uzi was let down onto the floor as she stumbled to gain her balance. Once she got it, she walked towards the metal door and knocked on it.

    The door opened up enough for a white worker drone to look through the doors. “Wow Jim, didn’t think you would find them that fa-“ the worker cut off seeing Uzi and the others.

    “U-“ the worker stuttered as they opened the door completely. They walked closer to Uzi and called out her name to her. “Uzi..?” 

    Uzi glanced back at N who gave a shrug. C looked inside the bunker to see more bald drones slowly coming out of hiding. C took a step closer to Wren who was standing right beside her. Wren looked up at C, she rolled her eyes and smiled playfully as she held C’s hand softly. C blushed at the feeling but turned away so Wren couldn’t see.

    C turned back to where Uzi was to see what she would say. “Uh.. Yeah?” What?” Uzi asked as she waved a hand.

    The worker drone grabbed her arm and started to talk frantically, but in an excited way. “Oh my robo-god!” He started, “You're alive! We heard that a massacre happened at the camp where our kids went, they said you died with them.” He walked inside the bunker still holding Uzi’s arm and dragging her along whether she wanted to or not. 

    “Dude!” Uzi yelled as she tried to pull away, “Let go of me!”

    The worker ran away with Uzi.

    C looked around, too stunned to speak. Even V, who seemed like she didn’t like Uzi, was shocked by the drones actions. 

    “Uzi!” N yelled as he ran inside, C noticed that when the other followed N that the workers didn’t even try to stop them.

    Wren had unfortunately let go of C’s hand whilst running, and was more focused on tracking down Uzi and calming N.

    Wren ran up beside N and started to talk to him, “Hey, I can track where he’s taking her. We can get there quickly” she scanned around the area and must have spotted Uzi because she pointed in front of them and they all ran in that direction. 

    They kept running and running, they didn’t stop until they came across some random door that looked like it had a home on the inside of it. C saw Uzi and the drone standing in front of the door, waiting for something, or someone.

    “Uzi!” N called out again as he collapsed and put his hands on his knees. “Don’t run off like that.”

    “Wasn’t trying to, N” Uzi said snarky, yet, calmly at the same time. 

    N lifted his head and looked at the drone who dragged Uzi from the entrance to this door. He gave the drone a mindless smile while an X flashed on his screen. He pointed to Uzi then shook his head ‘no’. The worker, being terrified, nodded slowly and gave a shaken thumbs up.

    Uzi confusingly looked at the worker wondering why he was so scared, she turned to N to see he just had a smile on his face with his eyes closed. But she wanted answers, and she was gonna get them, C could tell from the determined look on her face.

    “Explain,” she said clearly to the worker.

    He rubbed the back of his head as he knocked on the door three times. “Well, your father has been very ‘depressed’ after the news that you ‘died’” the worker explained, he used air quotations on the words ‘depressed’ and ‘died’. “He started to say stuff like your mom, Nori, used to. He shut himself off and yelled at people when they came to check on him. He’ll most likely yell at us when he opens the door.. if he does open it..” they knocked on the door again and a split second later, the door flew open.

    As the worker predicted, Uzi’s father pointed his finger at the worker and started to yell at him. “Marcus! What have I said about bugging me!” He demanded. The man looked sleep deprived and extremely stressed. 

    “What do you want!?” Uzi’s father yelled. The worker put his hands up like he was being thrown in jail.

    “Calm down Khan!” The worker said, “I brought something I think you’ll like this time!” He gestured with his eyes to where Uzi was. 

    ‘Khan’ rolled his eyes and turned to see who he was pointing at. When Khan saw Uzi, he immediately dropped his shoulder and hand as he stood in what looked to be disbelief. 

    C noticed how N had stepped back a couple of steps and wondered why. Uzi glanced back at N just to see where he was until she snapped her head around to see her father's eyes staring into her non-existent soul. 

    His hands began to shake as he took a step forward. He stuttered a little but before he spoke his first word, “N-Nori..?” He kept staring at Uzi as she glanced at the worker who dragged her to her house with hollow eyes. 

    “Um, Khan?” The worker started after Khan didn’t speak and kept staring at Uzi. “We’ve told you, Nori is gone.. but! This is uh.. your daughter, Uzi! Turns out she’s alive” the worker punched Uzi a little too hard on the arm. Uzi narrowed her eyes at the worker until she looked back at her dad. He looked like he was about to cry.

    “Dad-“ Uzi tried as she got cut off when Khan (pretty much) leaped towards Uzi and hugged her as tight as he possibly could.

    “Uzi..” Khan whispered loudly to where everyone around could hear, “you're alive..”

okay to explain! ig to better fit with the more sonic-themed additions to canon, drones are cats! kinda. i shall illuminate

I KNOW THIS IS POORLY EDITED BUT TRUST ME!!! (edited picrew)

okay so i also have a whole document thingy (which i will most likely keep editing maybe?) so imma just copypaste what i wrote. also be warned its kinda all over the place lol. ALSO THERES A LOT!!

Drones are biomechanical & synthetic creatures made to replicate the average Mobian but with artificial enhancements. They are based off of a cat (due to a popular vote in the company) but there are major changes; one being a metallic skeleton and a visor on the upper half of their face, replacing their eyes. The center of the tops of their hands have a little triangle light accent, the same color as their eyes. Their upper chest has a black triangular panel that displays an icon and an ID number (or, simply the name if a later generation/non-company made), also the color of their eyes. Their bodies are all colored white and are made of a synthetic fur material.

Something to note about eye color: all drones can see normal color, the edges of their vision/HUD are all colored the same as their eye color.

While being based off of cats, they are all collectively called “Worker Drones” due to their main purpose being to be used in (commonly) factory settings or just to perform manual work in general. There are three known “generations” of WD (they have no physical changes): Generation 1 aka Company-Made. The Gen 1 WDs are the drones who were directly manufactured by JCJenson. They all have number WDIDs and blue eyes/lights and did not have wigs nor custom outfits, instead all being fitted with company helmets, jackets, work gloves and work boots. They had no programmed personalities other than a few core traits to keep them work-motivated/focused.

The Gen 2 and 3 WDs only began to exist after JCJenson expanded from earth to exoplanets, specifically Copper-9. After all human life was exterminated from the exoplanet, the WDs picked up where the humans left off, these being the (technical) Gen 2 drones. These drones were able to perform factory resets on themselves, allowing them to become sentient and allow for customization. The Gen 3 WDs are the children of the Gen 2 drones, their WDIDs being their names instead of numbers.

JCJenson then created the Disassembly Drones after learning about the “Copper-9 Incident”; these drones are taller than WDs and were made with major significant changes to allow for “maximum Worker Drone disassembly efficiency”. Their forearms were turned cone-shaped and have the ability to switch out their hands for various weapons, and their normal tails were replaced with a very long one with a syringe filled with a yellow-colored corrosive substance (Nanite acid) attached to the end of it, and they have giant retractable bladed wings. They were also given a headband of five other “eyes” (also filled with Nanite acid). They each both serve a different function, allowing for different types of vision (nightvision, ultraviolet, etc) but also serve collectively as a visual system status, turning red if there is an issue relating to vision or recognizing objects; the more that are red, the less they can see. If all are red, that means their visual systems are offline, rendering them blind. Unlike other drones, they all have hair that is silvery-white and their eyes/lights are an unnatural yellow.

The AbsoluteSolver does exist and behaves in a similar way as it does in the show, it is just non-sentient however.

But speaking of the AS… drone eye/light colors naturally don’t have yellow as an available color. The closest is a very light slightly off-orange color, but it isn’t a pure yellow. Yellow is the Solver’s natural color due to it being an alarming color and also the only color normal drones don’t have (obviously…).

Returning to Gen 1 drones momentarily: technically there were two eye/light colors drones had; the ones made for company work had blue, but ones that were made for home use (maids, butlers, that sort of stuff) had white. There isn’t exactly a clear reason why but it’s been unofficially stated that it’s to differentiate between home-drones and company-drones.

A fun fact: drones (and JCJenson by extension) were Robotnik’s inspiration for Metal Sonic’s design, with his own machine style of course. He could technically re-engineer the drone design but there are many intricacies that Robotnik would probably not be able to replicate or even care to replicate. But he does have a couple of drones of his own that he was able to have brought to him, which he then customized further afterwards to fit his aesthetics. They were set to work in storage areas, sorting things or retrieving components when required. Other than that it would be somewhat hard to tell that they were JCJenson-made robots unless interacted with up-close (but they’re just another robot in Robotnik’s army so they don’t exactly matter lol).

The eyes of Worker Drones are normally just oval shapes, but that’s a trait only Gen 1 drones have, as Gen 2 & 3 have more stylized eyes. Even the Disassembly Drones have stylized eyes!

Speaking of Disassembly Drones: since they are modified Worker Drones, their main bodies are the same, but their lower legs and forearms are metal. The feminine models also have patterned material on their upper legs (like V, for example).

More about the general structure of a drone… (Disassembly Drones are essentially the same structure-wise, excluding the obvious parts)

The synthetic material is pretty tough to damage, but it can be if enough force/pressure is applied, meaning it can tear. JCJenson knew this (they made the drones in the first place so duh) so they made it so that cuts could seal back together, though they can leave scars. The “blood” of a drone is their oil (which is also their coolant essentially…)

Drone IDs (that appears on their chest panel and in their HUD)-

Disassembly Drone: “SD-(insert letter)”. Example: “SD-N”, “SD-V”, “SD-K”

Worker Drone Gen 1-2: Any set of numbers, up to 4 digits. Example: “1001”, “002”, “095”

Worker Drone Gen 3: Their name in all caps. Example: “UZI”, “DOLL”, “MILO”

Welll... It was a nice ep. But honestly felt more like set up for cliche "all heroes friends come together to fight the bad guy" season finale.

No real answers, since md is considered an arthouse I guess. And just as any overhyped arthouse, it's plot is too overcomplicated. Humanity is gone, dissesambly drones were the ones who killed all the humanity on Earth (from what I get), and it's still doesn't fix the plot hole of why AbsoluteSolver ordered dd to attack wds. It just doesn't make sense in overal story.

B plot of Lizzy, Thad(oh hello, you exist) and Khan with rebuild of Uzi's railgun is rather nice throwback, but... OH WOW, THEY ACTUALY REMEMBER OLD SHIT AND BRING IT BACK ONLY NOW?? JUST AT TIME. Without any build up. One ep away from season finale. Khan suddenly having character development offscreen because...? Cause....? Dunno, guess plot demands it.

J is just a fanservice and to drop keys, really important character.

For the main plot... Thanks for wasting Doll's character and just killing her off, without any closure for her character. It's upseting since she was one of the only characters that actually has clear motivation and her actions aren't contridicting them.

N, in simuliar situation, didn't decapitated V that could've easily regrow it, but a human (from what he known at the time at least) that, you know, don't regrow their head.

Nori... Oh god, it's just Uzi with different voice and more of a annoying jerk than her daughter.

Though from Uzi getting some slaps from her own mom was fun ngl, and Uzi then throwing off Nori like the shit she is, without any sob reunion, is just toptier moment fr.

Marle & Squares

Marle came from another planet, and was also once a worker drone.

In her previous life, she was a general of an army, particularly one of the armies that fought in a great war long ago.

In one battle, however, Marle became badly injured. It wasn't exactly fatal, but she could not be out on the field because of it.

She was fortunate enough to become repaired, although upgraded into a dissessembly drone like some of her fallen fellow soldiers. Her army eventually won the war.

The large text on the band on her leg, which has been there since she had become a dissessembly drone, reads "分解ドローン マール" (Bunkai (Dissessembly) Drone Marle). There are some smaller text displaying some additional information (hence, the small lines on the band).

Following the war, Marle retired from the army and hid from society where she would eventually create Squares.

Squares got the AbsoluteSolver a while after his creation. Marle makes sure that it won't fully corrupt him.

The right side of Squares' visor is broken due to an accident involving other disassembly drones some time before he and his sister fled to the planet my AU is set.

Thanks to the visor damage, his vision became impaired. Following this, Marle had to code him to recognize her with the green band on her leg.

His messages display on the left side of his visor, again due to the visor damage.

Squares speaks entirely in Japanese. While Marle speaks English, the two of them can understand each other.

Marle is quite protective of Squares when it comes to other dissessembly drones. Even when the drone(s) in question are benevolent, she's not exactly known for friendly first impressions when it comes to meeting dissessembly drones.

Even after they left their birth (creation?) planet, they still live in seclusion due to Squares having the AbsoluteSolver.

Marle, alongside the disassembly drones that were in her army, are immune to sunlight, which disassembly drones are normally weak to.

The concept of MD!Squares and MD!Marle were created by @squares-the-cosmosrectangle, alongside the lore for Squares (I did the lore for Marle) and most of the design.

Let me ramble | VERY SELECTIVELY accepting

// OOOHOHOHOHOHO, FASTEN UR SEATBELT, 'CAUSE I AM GONNA GO ON ABOUT LIZZY AND ALL THAT'S HAPPENED TO HER AND HER FRIENSHIP WITH DOLL. Although I am gonna try and put everything in order so that my ramble about her truly makes sense, so bear with me here.

// So to start, before everything went down, Lizzy's life was pretty much great. She was one of the most popular folks in RoboPrep school alongside her best friend Doll and some others, and they would do everything together-- from slumber parties to ditching class to teasing the Purple scrub who's always rambling about killing all humans and railguns. Life, as they both know it, is great-- they wouldn't have it otherwise.

Doll is the friend she's known the longest, as they met when they were literal Babies/Untrained Neural Networks. She doesn't even mind Doll and her family's faulty vocal chips (which make them speak Russian rather than common). Though to be fair, it's not something drones would mind anyways as they are programmed with a built-in translator in their brains, but I digress. In fact, it was thanks to Doll that Lizzy learned she likes girls. Doll happened to be her first crush, too.

Then, the Purple Scrub leads the murder drones to the colony, and while some drones die and most survive, there IS a major difference afterwards. For starters, Doll is more... quiet. Distant. Not as happy as she used to be, as if something happened to her. And when Lizzy asks? Doll reveals that her family had been killed by a murder drone that calls itself 'V'. Lizzy at first assumed she's joking (as her own father survived so Doll's parents must have too), but when she actually goes to Doll's house that weekend? She realizes that it wasn't a joke. Doll's parents are actually dead. It's... a shock, but Lizzy doesn't think about it too much. Until one day, by circumstance, a murder drone sneaks into her room with intention to kill-- the same drone that killed Doll's mom and dad. But while initially frightened, Lizzy manages to keep V from killing her by feigning immediate attraction to her and promising 'friendship'. V is confused slightly, but views it as a chance to trick a dumb worker into letting her kill everyone and... goes along with it.

Doll eventually discovered this when Lizzy shared a photo of herself and V by accident, and so shecalled Lizzy over saying "I want to show you something". Lizzy, of course, visited her bestie, and what happened next shocked her; Doll stated that ever since her parents died, she's had this... new ability... inside of her. She even showed her some of what her new ability could do. And seeing her friendship with V, she offered a proposition; Lizzy keeps up the friendship so that Doll can get some good ol' fashion payback. Which involved killing the Prom queen candidates. Of course Lizzy was against it at first due to having a weird gut feeling about Doll's new power, but relented because Doll was her friend and no one would miss a Murder Drone, right?

Well, as the deaths counted up and Prom day grew closer, Lizzy was kept in the dark about what Doll was specifically doing with the bodies, and when the day finally came, she found herself warning V-- who she thought she'd never get attached to-- to RUN. Of course that failed, and V was trapped and Lizzy was flung away as what was basically a massacre broke out. She recovered and helped N and V fix themselves before escaping home, and after that called Doll to see if she was okay. But... nothing. No responses, even after a message spam or two. As if Doll's just... gone. And that hurts.

For the following days up until the camping trip actually arrives, Lizzy was constantly wearing a vapid facade, hiding behind empty popular girl smiles. She acts like she's 'replaced' Doll with Rebecca and some other popular drones, but... she hadn't. She missed Doll greatly now that she had just... vanished, and nothing was the same anymore. Not even wiping her feet all over that Purple-eyed freak was as fun anymore.

Of course, said freak later turns into a monster and massacres the class. And while some drones make it out alive (Lizzy included again), at this point, she is... utterly traumatized, using her phone to get her mind off of everything and not doing a good job at it.

By now, her perfect life is in shambles. She's lost a lot of people close to her, the purple freak is even MORE unapproachable and not just because of her ugly fashion sense but because she just ate almost everyone in the most violent and gruesome way possible. And Lizzy herself played a part in her snapping, for all she knows. And worst of all... Doll is gone. Following that failed plan to kill V, it's like her bestie dropped off of the face of Copper 9. She hasn't responded to any of her texts, and she's... probably dead for all that Lizzy knows.

Her best friend is dead for all she knows, and almost all of the popular kids she would even bother hanging around are all dead no thanks to that purple monster. By now, Lizzzy acts as if nothing is happening to her and her life is still the same 'alpha ritch girl', but... it's not. She's deeply traumatized from all that's happened to her, and she's wearing a smirky-face-mask to hide all that's bothering her ever since all that's happened.

She wants Doll to be okay. But the radio silence is making her lose hope. And she has no friends to talk about it to. And her father (AND teacher) is practically apathetic to everything so he's automatically no help. If that damn purple freak hadn't led those drones here, none of this would have happened. Doll would still be here. No one would be dead. She'd... still have her perfect life.

But she can't show anyone her sadness, not now. She still has to keep that smirky-face-mask on for a little longer.

i kept thinking about this and it would kind of WORK tho.

here's a good page to read Terminal Redux, since i dont think i can to it justice with a quick summary. it's basically a short story, length-wise?

and i'm amused by how much sense it makes if you just cast Tessa as Isolation Subject #5, JcJenson/EarthGov as Cygnus, and AbsoluteSolver as Alshain.

and ok i lied, i didn't spend "a bit" thinking about this, i ended up writing a whole outline for an villain!tessa fic based on this premise

so if you made this into an AU, the setup could be like Tessa's disobedience finally crossed the line for her parents. (maybe she'd tried to save Cyn from being decommissioned?) so as punishment, they enroll her in the isolation project. Iso subjects are sent alone into the depths of the galaxy, (ship autopilot functions overidden, any choice of destination forbidden), which usually drives them to madness

but Tessa crash-lands on a planet infected with the AbsoluteSolver. it infects her, integrates with her body, and it speaks to her. offering her immortality and telling her to go back to earth and seize power. and like, she's spent years isolation in the depths of space, why wouldn't she latch onto this n̷̢͎͑̏e̶͈̭̾͛̇w̷̙̩̋̂̀͜ ̶͇̐͜f̵̯̥̀́̚r̸͔̣͒͘͠ḭ̴̳͕̆̀͠ȅ̶̫̑ṅ̵̞̒ď̶͚̩͆?

Solver integration would also turns her into a badass robo-cyborg, bc i know who follows me :3 (this actually isnt even a departure from canon; the enocules inflicting body horror on iso sub 5 is literally just the text)

anyway, a lot of the character work in the songs transfers over without much change, i think, thought the context of Solver influence changes the tone of the story entirely.

one seemingly trivial worldbuilding detail is that in the album, the enocules are something stargazers have theorized about, nothing known for sure until iso sub 5 discovers them. but i think it'll be different here: JcJ isn't just vaguely aware of AbsoluteSolver, they've tried to control it and failed spectacularly. cabin fever labs and all that. it's probably top secret.

except Tessa does that they failed to do. the Solver integrated into her body, and she has influence over it. it's a power JcJ is hungry for, enough that if Tessa plays her cards right, there's no way her parents can keep her locked up.

first thing she does is use the Solver to bring Cyn back. (i kind of like the image of Tessa finally returning to her childhood room, and once again hugging Cyn, squeezing away the trauma of the isolation project and meeting the Solver and pleading her case the JcJ board). Cyn being the first drone she brings back, it's probably how she cuts her teeth and learns more about how the Solver works.

and maybe she settles on a longterm plan of using the AS to 'uplift' humanity into a a race of robo-immortals, and by maintain personal control of the Solver, she'll shape every world into a utopia. (basically what happens in the album). but to do this, the first step of her plan — and the big difference between this AU and Terminal Redux is that well, a pivotal development in that story was iso sub 5 conquering Epsilon by inflicting LCD on the population. what's the equivalent here?

Epsilon is a planet where Cygnus has always struggled for control. sound familiar? JcJenson struggles to regain control of Copper-9 after the core collapse, so Tessa and the Cyn would decide that reigning in the rogue workers would be the perfect step in her ascent to power. stabilizing their greatest mistake would prove to JcJ once and for all the indispensable utility of the Solver and cement Tessa's political influence.

so instead of Liquid Crystal Disease, Tessa designs the disassembly drones — and like this, she revives all the drones her family had decommissioned (hi J/N/V). finally, they're all united, like terminals for the grand Solver network.

anyway, maybe Tessa reopens Cabin Fever Labs with the intent of infecting worker drones and bringing them into Solver's embrace

between the disassemblers and infected worker drones, Copper-9 becomes awfully dystopian. the Solver collective would be brutal in subjugating the workers (and maybe by now, Tessa's having second thoughts about her path, but she's got the Solver whispering in her ear. with it so intimately wired into her body and that of her drones, she's utterly locked in)

now, probably Uzi et al. mount a rebellion against Tessa — maybe it's even effective resistance. all the better if it is, because if Uzi and the WDF are a threat, that's actually great for the Solver! because justifies Tessa pushing for EarthGov to give Tessa more and more power to put an end to the chaos.

basically paving the road for her to become a absolute tyrant :3

in the end, Uzi probably just loses. Tessa assimilates her and everyone else into the Solver collective. after all, the climax of the album isn't a grand battle. iso subject 5 simply wins everything, and so does tessa. but i think this setup allows for the true climax be even more impactful.

the final turning point of the album is seeing the pillars of sand falling, the natural beauty of stellar skies frozen still under tyrannical strangulation, the realization that when all the dissenting voices are quieted, all you can hear is the inevitable, ever-growing roar of entropy. every. thing. falls.

and what do you think the Solver wants to do, once it's seized total control of Copper-9?

if Uzi is a part of the solver collective now, imagine what she feels, seeing her home destroyed? and through the collective, Tessa can feel it, too

i think if there's a thematic note this fic might end on, something that distinguishes it from the source material (because truth be told, i never liked the anti-immortality message of Terminal Redux), it would be a lonely bookend. the story ends where it begins.

the album was a story of the paroxysms of desire, of hunger and ambition gorged to a tipping point of metastatic, self-negating, tragedy.

if this story began with Tessa isolated in the depths of the universe, only to finally return to the comforting embrace of her favorite robot, then i think once Copper-9 is gone, Tessa would go to hug Cyn again, only to find this feels… different. through the Solver, they're so interconnected that it doesn't really feel like a hug anymore. it just feels like she's holding a part of herself.

after uniting everything with the AbsoluteSolver, Tessa doesn't feel any less alone.

maybe tessa spends a long time staring into the night sky. she recalls the image of copper-9 in pieces, then imagines every planet around every star she can see.

and, with every last dregs of independent will left, she gathers up all her robots and flies back to where it all began, bound in the metaphorical chains of a isolation project ship (autopilot functions overridden, choice of destination forbidden — so her will can't falter), intent to do to the Solver's home planet what it had done to Copper-9, ending it all in a blaze of absolving light

I knew I was right to be skeptical about Uzi going full Murder Drone! But wow—there is a lot too unpack with what this one introduced.

First off, what’s wrong with Uzi’s classmates? Why were they so afraid of her when Doll was going all prom murder? The first time I slightly get cause they were surprised by her speaking a bit suddenly. But the second time? They all saw Uzi exit the tree lining before she spoke!

Unless it’s right in front of them—they barely react/register tragedy, going as far as to play it off as a joke. I thought Lizzy was a singular case due to being best friends with Doll. She at least seemed far more nonchalant about killing off her classmates. And she isn’t even AS infected!

The promo showed who was going to be killed.

Once again, I’m reminded these are robots trying to mimic human society. Their emotional intelligence is pretty poor overall considering they barely react to deaths afterward. Following mob/herd mentality, no continuous sense of self-preservation, and having very loose morals.

The fact they found more comfort in known murderers is concerning. Makes me wonder how their parent's generation even survived.

(Also, it was Nori’s idea to create the doors and not Khan's? “Build doors against the coming sky demons!–The singularity awakens...”)

Two; How in the world can Uzi’s AbsoluteSolver create organic matter?! I was under the strong impression that it used nanites to affect general things. Yet this is on a completely another level.

Something which her mother seemed to be aware of. Uzi made f*cking bat-like wings and a mouthed tail out of nothing. People appear to be debating whether she was fully herself or AS crazy during that scene in the ep comments. It. It could either way to be honest. We see her puke up (streaming) oil from Daren and look at her oil-covered hand in horror. Her eyes/visor flickering between a Murder Drone X to high temperature warning to AS symbol in one eye.

And yet she goes into murder mode pretty quickly. Laughing eerily similar to V from Ep 1.

She tricked V by begging to speak to N, then during the falling talk was clearly in full control of herself. I hate the Absolute Solver program.

Sidenote, We see how V has indeed been hiding things. “New body, same horrors, huh, Cyn?” Who from a very brief flashback from N is the fourth yellow-eyed drone Tessa restored. We kinda knew about her from the beginning since we see “Absolute Solver attempt block by Administrator CYN.” post-reboot slap. She had the AS symbol plus the large distended mouth in the flashback. She—she had a human arm in her mouth showing it off to N (I think.)

How she maintains an Administrator position in the JCJenson corporation—shown to hate rogue/free-thinking AIs—I’ll never know...

Another, or the same arm, was shown in a chandelier a few seconds after. The flashback ends with what I believe to be a black hole in the sky. Or maybe a blotted out sun?

Red eyes were visible when N fries that monitor touching the buttons. Except for them being rounder than a drone’s so we can rule out Doll.

Thirdly. There was more to Nori than we could imagine given the little bug recognizing 02.

Register Torture Chamber complaint??? Either Nori used torture chambers(!) on other drones or was subjected to one. She seemed to have a descent into madness after the core explosion. If the box of “Family Memories before Nori went Kooky & Insane” was any indication. I did miss that when I first watched the episode...

Nori didn’t just see the three Murder Drones, she saw countless descended from the sky that the doors were her idea in the first place. There are so many questions we can ask about this: Did Nori and Yeva know about the Zombie Drone thing? Did they not use their abilities in public to avoid turning as Uzi does? Will Doll eventually turn—or is it only older AS “02”? How often did Worker Drones turn into Zombie Drones back on Earth that there needed to be a training tape about them? I really hate AS.

4th—AbsoluteSolver does indeed cause the same overheating issues in Murder Drones. It feels nice to get a confirmation for this since we could only speculate. Uzi burns in sunlight now. She can regenerate like a Disassembly Drone too. All while still having wings, a stinger/mouthed tail, and the AbsoluteSolver abilities. The purple protagonist has the programming to become a far deadlier AS/Murder Drone hybrid.

Took down V like it was barely anything. Where did her new wings and tail even go when N caught her? Do they fold into her body like the Murder Drone's own ones do?? Her tail??? I thought J’s AS heart-thing was fleshy cause it used human ribcage remnants. Clearly, we know otherwise that it becomes an extension of advanced AbsoluteSolvee users... What did Cyn/Tessa/JCJenson create? (nightmare fuel)

Lastly, character growth! Uzi showed her softer side and insecurities in this episode. N appears to be losing his doormat qualities defending himself. V’s still mean—but worried mean~ She is looking out for N, and very afraid for them.

Glitch and the crew really stepped up their animation ability in this episode. Characters are far more fluid. We see their expressions range, the episode was less joking to bring home how serious Cabin Fever was. At least more so compared to the other three episodes—nice.
